So let me describe what it looks like and how I envisaged it working. You run the program and choose your midi ports in the drop down boxes that list your midi ins/outs. You then press the "editor window" button top right. You are now presented with a central tabbed area where the following tabs are located. Note though that these are chosen programmatically by a row of buttons at the bottom of the screen (very important). The tabs are: Pre : Preamplifier (A channel top middle ,B middle)and speaker controls. SP : Distortions , Noise suppressor , compressor (called SP as the speaker controls were originally here). CR : chorus , reverb and wah. LK : FX chain listbox (drag items up/down to alter chain) , EQ section. Dy : Delay , delay1 ,delay2, and warp ..(the on/off buttons are (top left)Delay , bottom right warp FX : this tab is dual used for fx1 and fx2...It has a on/off button left. a type dropdown list to choose which effect shows in the FXpg pagecontrol that covers the right of the screen. The conditions for its use are set by choosing the FX1 and FX2 buttons at the botton of the screen. If you do not press the buttons to go to the tab (ie. by clicking directly to the FX tab , none of the correct variables and flags are set to enable the FX sections to work properly. So you press the FX1 button at the bottom of the screen...this sets the flags/variable for FX1 and changes the tab to FX. The FX page will load with the correct (in current use)effect as per the current patch. On/off is obvious.the type dropdown list is also set to the current effect , and the pagecontrol is set to show the effect (via the FXpg pagecontrol) controls in the right of the screen. (with tabs from AC to SD,the latter being in use in FX2 only)...Remember that none of these tabs are actually visible). So now you press FX2 at the bottom of the editor. The FX tab is now loaded with the patch details for FX2 ...wether on/off.. which effect is chosen in the type list and which FXPg page is shown. The buttons at the bottom of the screen are (left to right):... Preamp,Noise Suppressor,Distortions,Compressor,EQ,Reverb,Chorus,Delay,Wah,FX1,FX2,Chain, and Assigns. The bottom buttons can be left or right clicked. A left click on the button changes the Pre,SP,CR,LK etc tab to show the controls for that section) and a right click turns that effect on or off (depending on its current state). A left click on the assign button shown a summary of the current assigns and a right click brings up the assigns editor window to alter the assigns.
